SURFACE TENSION
I’m drawn to the tipping point between excess and release, how much we hold, how much we shed. Experiences, objects, assumptions: they gather, they press, they strain. In the work, this plays out through materiality. Glazes accumulate, react, and push against their own limits. The cracked skin becomes both barrier and invitation, revealing traces of what lies beneath and what once existed. It captures the moment just before rupture, that charged instant where transformation is inevitable, but not yet complete.
